Introduction
2024 Summer Camp for High School Students on Chinese Economy and Finance is held by the School of Economics, Fudan University, aiming to provide an opportunity for outstanding high school students to experience learning at a world-leading university, to explore their interests and potentials, and think about whether they want to pursue studying economics at the university level.
The Camp contains 2 modules. Module 1 consists of 5 lectures, covering topics like China’s past and present, international trade, taxation, technology, manufacturing and economic research methods. Module 2 is a research workshop which encourages students to form research groups and conduct a research project based on shared interest in certain economic and finance topics. They will be guided by experienced teaching assistants in regards to literature review, research methodology, data collection and analysis, and expected conclusion. In the end, they will make a group presentation about their research project and receive comments and suggestions from professors.

Eligibility
Current or newly graduated high school students with excellent academic performance and a strong interest in economics.
*Please note that this program is only open to Chinese citizens from China’s Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
Schedule
Module 1 : Chinese Economy and Finance Lecture Series
Duration: June 24 - July 28, 2024
Location: Handan Campus, Fudan University
Assessment: Comprehensive assessments of attendance, quizzes, etc.
Certificate: Students who participate in all the lectures and pass all the quizzes will be awarded the certificate issued by Fudan University (non-degree education).
Module 2 : Chinese Economy and Finance Research Workshop
*Please note that the application is limited to students participating in Module 1.
Duration: June 30 - July 6, 2024
Teaching Method: Online
Assessment: Group project report and presentation
Certificate: Students will be awarded the certificate issued by Fudan University (with letter grades, non-degree education).

● Apply via http://register.fudan.edu.cn/
● Create an account and search for the program named“2024年中國經濟與金融高中生夏令營（英文授課）”
● Click “Apply” to fill in the application and upload the supporting documents.
● After submitting the application, applicants will be notified to pay the application fee (CNY 100) by email. The online application cannot be reviewed and processed unless the application fee is paid.
● Once admitted, applicants will receive an admission notice with the tuition payment information.

Application Fee: CNY 100 per person
Tuition: CNY 15,700 per person

A. Early Bird Discount: This discount applies to those who complete application and pay the tuition fee before 5:00 pm on April 19th, 2024. The discounted tuition fee is CNY 14,130/person.
*Please note that the application review process will take approximately 3 working days. Please reserve enough time to finish your application in advance to avoid missing the early-bird discount.
B. Group Discount: This discount applies to groups of 5 or more people who apply together. The discounted tuition fee is CNY 14,130/person.
*Please note that the above discounts cannot be combined.

Tuition: CNY 6,000 per person
Deadline for Application: June 11, 2024
Refund Policy
a) Students can apply for a full refund of the application fee and tuition fee upon program cancellation.
b) Refunds due to any personal reason (Beijing Time):
● 50% of the paid tuition fee will be refunded upon request before and on June 13, 2024
● No refunds will be made on and after June 14, 2024
*Please note that the refund will be returned to the original payment account in CNY only. The bank charges and differences caused by exchange rate changes are not included in each refund.
